Intellectual Property

  • Chapter VII retains ownership of design concepts until full payment is received

  • Upon full payment, the client is granted rights to use the final website design and is transferred ownership

Chapter VII reserves the right to display completed work in portfolios and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.

Limitation of Liability

While we take care to provide high-quality services, Chapter VII is not liable for:

  • Loss of business or profits

  • Website downtime caused by third-party platforms/integrations

  • Issues arising from client-provided content

  • Changes or updates to Squarespace services

Nothing in these terms limits liability where prohibited by law.

Third-Party Services

Our websites may include third-party tools or platforms (such as Squarespace). Chapter VII is not responsible for changes, outages, or policies of third-party providers.

Termination

Either party may terminate services in accordance with agreed project terms. Any work completed up to the termination date remains payable unless agreed upon by Chapter Vii.
